damn lot of progress... ive been working on the interface; you can now select your own controls, as well as your own music... im halfway done with the board maker... and the main game, you ask?... well, i added a lot of cool stuff to that too, such as graves... go check out some screenshots and see for youself... atually, get the demo while your at it, espically since you can now play with 8 players at once!...

alon the lines of multiple people playing at once: anyone have multiple joypads?... if so, the demo should work with them all at once, but im nto really sure... please, PLEASE, test it for me, and email me about how well it works... thanks!...

the main game is just about done!... ah, the progress!... where to begin, where to begin... several of the items show up (but you only gain something from the FireUp and BombUp), you die if fire hits you (no death animation yet, you just dissappear)... much progress, but still some little details to work out...

whats this?... two paragraphs for the newest progress entry?... actually, im sure most of you havent noticed/cared that i usually only write one, but either way, im writing a second one this time... just wanted to say that my game now has 8 players in it, but only two have controls set to them... the reason ive limited this for right now is because: A. im lazy, and B. theres a problem with most standard keyboards... you see, most keyboards wont pick up simultanious keypresses past a certain number, in most key combinations... older keyboards used to, but as computers became cheaper, computer engineers found cheaper ways of making keyboards... one of these shortcuts resulting in limiting the number of keys that can be pressed simultaniously, and still be registered by the computer... whats this mean?... it means that, if your playing my game with a few of your friends all on one keyboard, while your buddys are holding down their directional buttons, your directional buttons will have no effect... it kinda sucks... the only solution i can offer is to buy multiple joypads... since i have not yet programmed in multiple joypad support, only two players can currently play my demo... simply put, the computer was not meant to be a gaming system for multiple people on one computer... if there were ever an argument for consoles over computers, this would have to be it...

ive made a lot more progress... bombs explode and take out bricks and other bombs, stop when they hit something, etc... still have to add in items and the ability to die from bombs, but that nothing big... i would write more here, but im damn tired, so im gonna go get some sleep... just download the demo...

im friggin' aroused over the progress ive made... ive set up the ability to lay bombs, and they dissappear when theyre supposed to explode... also, ive added in soft blocks... all thats left is adding explosions and items, and fine-tuning some things, and ive got a non-networked version of my game done... thus why i decided to update early, and add in my newest demo... download it, and email me about what you think...

collision detection works perfectly!... not only can bomberman not move through walls, but if hes at the very edge of a block, hell "slide" around the block before moving past it... if you dont understand what i mean, download the demo... even if you understand what i mean, download the demo anyways!... i want feedback, damnit!... email me!!... heh, sorry 'bout that... anyways, ive decided to include a map editor in the final version of the game... shouldnt be hard to make at all... but, ill make that last...

so far, i have my bomber moving around wherever i want, in full animation... however, if where i want him to move happens to be through a wall, then he doesnt seem to mind walking right through it... i have to program in collision detection, but it shouldnt be very hard at all, because of the way my game is set up... after thats in place, ill put in the ability to set bombs, then ill add soft bricks... hopefully, this will all be around before the end of the week... are any of you bomber fans on the edge of your seat yet?... heh...

no navigation bar on the left?... trapped in someone elses frames?... just curious as to what this does?... hurry up and and click here...
